Tom Slack

• After a life threatening experience, Tom decided to pursue his dream.  He went back to school and received a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Utah.
• He is represented by 4Star Gallery in Indianapolis, Indiana and Solar Flair Gallery in Rising Sun , Indiana.
• Exhibited in Agio Restaurant, Hilbert Circle Theater and Continental Towers Gallery.
• Member of the Portrait Society of America.
• Won awards in the Utah State Fair and the Indiana State Fair.  Awarded the Indiana Governor's Choice Award for a portrait which is currently hung in the Governor's mansion.
• Won second place in the Blue Jeans Festival in Rising Sun, IN.
• He has given lectures and demonstrations and gave a portrait workshop in Rising Sun in October 2002.
• Tom is involved in Gallery Art, Portraits and Commission Paintings.

• State Fair 2003 - Tom had 1 painting and 2 drawings hung for display.
• August 30th, 2003 - Was judge of the 5th annual "Post Cards from Rising Sun" and judged over 120 paintings.
• Tom's one man show this year was at Rising Sun and went on from July 1 - 30 of 2003.
